Colleen Eddy, director of advertising at The Poynter Institute, is an experienced media executive with an extensive background in both human resources and classified advertising.
Colleen has 18 years of newspaper experience at three newspapers: The Hartford Courant, the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y., and the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis. Colleen has managed human resources, customer service and advertising departments and holds numerous professional credentials, including qualification as a trainer in six programs.
