100 Ideas in 100 Minutes to Celebrate Our 100th Webinar

4:33 PM Feb. 01, 2011 — by Howard Finberg

We are all about the celebration of training. On Feb. 16, 2011, Poynter's e-learning project, News University, will have a training party with every Poynter faculty member sharing ideas and tips to help make all aspects of your journalism better.

We just sent out a news release announcing the Webinar. And announcing our special rate for anyone who has participated in any previous Webinar. (If you've signed up for any of our Webinars, watch your e-mail for details.)

Here's what we wrote:

The Poynter Institute's e-learning site, News University, will celebrate its 100th Webinar with a unique training event that brings together the entire Poynter faculty in a single, virtual classroom. The Webinar, "100 Ideas to Make Your Journalism Better," will deliver more than 100 practical tips on writing, design, video, leadership, social media and more from the Poynter experts who know these topics best.

This will be the first time that the full range of Poynter's expertise will be offered at a single training event.

The Webinar will start at 2 p.m. ET and last approximately 100 minutes. The cost is $24.95. Previous Webinar attendees will receive a discount code that allows them to attend for $10. This offer also will be available to anyone who enrolls through Feb. 10 in any upcoming Webinar or replay of any previous Webinar event.
