Dr. James Aucoin

James Aucoin spent 26 years working full or part-time as a reporter, editor, and editorial writer, as well as freelancing for a dozen magazines. He received his PhD from the Missouri School of Journalism in 1993. In August 1994, he joined the faculty at the University of South Alabama Department of Communication, where today he is a professor and chair of the department.
