Syllabus for a basic intro journalism course, starting with news judgment and moving through news narrative, information collection (interviewing and document research), multimedia newsthinking, multimedia newsgathering and multimedia news presentation, including a short video unit. Also includes a short unit on media law (libel, privacy, First Amendment). College undergrad level, primarily juniors though some sophomores take the course.
