Mitch Gelman


Mitch Gelman served as senior vice president and executive producer at CNN.com from 2001 through 2009, before joining Examiner.com as vice president, special projects. He worked as reporter at New York Newsday from 1987 through 1996, covering criminal justice, politics, immigration and health, and shared in a Pulitzer Prize for spot news reporting. He transitioned into online media, working as lead editor at ESPN.com and CNNSI.com before joining CNN.com. He lives with his family in Colorado.
