Cutting-edge lessons on the process and substance of science reporting — from statistics and cognitive bias to artificial intelligence and climate change. This 13-week course is designed to acquaint reporters with all aspects of science reporting and writing. It will train participants to view new breakthroughs and discoveries with skepticism and will give students a working knowledge of many of the main areas of science coverage, including the environment, artificial intelligence, and human interaction with technology.
