  • Poynter NewsU Training Points

Our new rewards program lets you earn training points every time you watch a Webinar, tell a friend about a course or join in other e-learning at Poynter's NewsU. You can redeem your points for Webinars, software training, video tutorials and more. The more you learn, the more you earn.

  • Face-to-Face: Conversations with Journalists

In these videos, students come face-to-face with journalists they'd never otherwise meet, learning about the immense power of reliable information—and the challenges of getting it. Speakers include journalists, newsmakers, bloggers and war correspondents in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. The work of these journalists has an impact, even if the journalists are not household names.

Each session is accompanied by companion materials—including readings, analysis and discussion activities—provided by faculty at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Journalism program.
